Dear Heritage Academy Maricopa K-5 Families,

Stepping into the role of principal at Heritage Academy Maricopa K–5 is an exciting new chapter, and I’m eager to begin this journey alongside our students, families, and staff. From the very start, my commitment is to foster a place where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to learn. Together, we will create an environment that not only nurtures young hearts and minds but also challenges them to reach their highest potential through exceptional learning experiences.

The 2026–2027 school year marks a milestone of sixteen years devoted to the work I love. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching Kindergarten, 2nd Grade, 4th Grade, and even community college, experiences that have deepened my understanding of how students grow and learn at every stage. After more than a decade in the classroom, I served as assistant principal at a K–5 public elementary school, gaining valuable leadership experience and behavioral support experience. Still, my heart longed for the rich traditions and values that first drew me to education in the traditional setting. That’s why the chance to help launch this campus last year was such an incredible opportunity. I’m excited to bring both my experience and my passion to Heritage Academy families as we work together to inspire and guide our youngest scholars.

For me, education has always been about people and relationships first. The scholars we serve spend the majority of their days with us, and that time matters. I believe every person who steps into our school, whether a teacher, a scholar, or a family member, should immediately feel welcomed, valued, and inspired. When we build that kind of culture, academic success follows naturally because learning happens best in a joyful, supportive space. I’m driven by the opportunity to encourage teachers to embrace their calling and connect deeply with their scholars, creating a school community that feels alive with purpose and positivity.

This is the year we begin our story. As we launch Heritage Academy Maricopa K–5, we are building more than a school; we are creating a community where scholars are known, loved, and challenged to reach their full potential. From the very first day, our goal is to weave together the strengths of home and school, forming a partnership that fuels success for every child. Families will know their children are safe, inspired, and in a place where their talents are celebrated. Scholars will walk into classrooms filled with joy, curiosity, and high expectations. Teachers will feel the strength of a leadership team committed to their growth and the success of their scholars. Together, we will lay the foundation for a legacy of excellence, one that will grow stronger with each passing year.
