At Heritage Academy, children enrolling in kindergarten must turn five years old before September 1 of the school year. If a child’s fifth birthday falls on or after September 1, they are not eligible for kindergarten enrollment for that school year.
We first enroll students who meet the age requirement. If additional seats become available, we may consider early admission testing for children whose birthdays are closest to the cutoff date. This process would not take place until June.
Families are welcome to remain on our interest list; however, the cutoff for early kindergarten openings is October 1.
