SAVE THE DATES!!
On Dollars for Duds days, scholars are allowed to wear non-uniform clothing (INCLUDING JEANS) that meet Heritage Standards. $1.00 for shirt and $1.00 for pants/shorts. Wristbands purchased for participation must be worn on your scholar’s wrist throughout the day. Dollars for Duds is optional, and scholars do not have to participate. Money raised goes to support Scholar Council and the school activities and dances they support.
Heritage Standard means: no sleeveless or midriff shirts; shorts must be 4″ from the middle of the knee and skirts must come to the middle of the knee; no pants or shorts that are ripped, torn or frayed; no leggings; no inappropriate slogans or symbols on the clothing; and NO PAJAMAS, SLIPPERS or CROCS.

The theme is 50’s Sock Hop! Pull out those poodle skirts and leather jackets! Heritage Standards apply.

Our Theater teacher, Carrie Vargas, has been selected for the America’s Favorite Teacher process! 
If selected, Mrs. Vargas will be awarded funding for the performing arts department, as well as a school visit from Bill Nye, the Science Guy! Ms. Fairbanks Senior Citizenship Class, is turning plastic grocery bags into “Plarn” and will be using the “Plarn” to crochet mats for the homeless. Here they are in the process.
Choir serenaded the front office on Thursday in preparation of their Jazz/Mad Festival this weekend! We are excited to see how they do!

CONGRATULATIONS HERITAGE STATE CHAMPIONS!!
Heroes Wrestling Brings Home Fourth Straight Title!
The team fought hard at the CAA state Wrestling Championship on Saturday. The team won with a lead of over 80 points and sent 19 wrestlers to the finals. Thank you to Coach Hettinger and all of the wrestlers, coaches, parents, and admin for their support.
This is the fourth year in a row that they have taken the championship. We aim for a fifth championship next season!

Heroes Cornhole Brings Home First Title!
The Cornhole team had a great State Finals showing taking the win! Thank you to Coach Hunsaker and Coach Ellsworth and all of the players and families! It was a fun season and we hope to see more Heroes join in the fun next year!

Dear Heritage Academy families,
We’re going to France in March 2026, and all current 8th through 11 graders are invited! We will be exploring Paris and Southern France, including the French Riviera. This is open to all those that will be enrolled in high school at a Heritage Academy campus in the year 2026. Those enrolled in French language classes are especially encouraged to participate, however it is not a requirement for the experience.
