IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER
HELPFUL LINKS
Dear Heritage Academy Maricopa Families,
We would like to inform you of upcoming changes to our driveline procedures and scholar parking. Our neighbors at the Catholic Church will be hosting a carnival over the next two weeks, which will impact our normal parking operations. Please note: The Cell Phone/Gravel Lot will be closed from April 28 through May 9. Please review the following information carefully to ensure a smooth drop-off and pick-up experience during this time.
Temporary Closure of the Cell Phone/Gravel Lot
During this time, the cell phone/gravel lot located near the Catholic Church will be closed for both drop-off, pick-up, and parking.
Driveline Instructions
- Drivers may enter the main driveline beginning at 3:20 PM.
- Please do not arrive before 3:20 PM to help us maintain traffic flow and minimize disruption.
- Do not park in the neighborhood near the school, as this may inconvenience local residents.
Scholar Parking Adjustments
- Scholars who usually park in the cell phone lot should now park on the south side of the Catholic Church.
- An updated parking map is attached for your reference.
- Scholars may enter the school through the back gate during this period.
- Please remind your scholar that they are guests on church property and should treat the area with respect at all times.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to keep our campus safe and organized.
Kind Regards,
Heritage Academy Maricopa Administration

Performing Arts Center Groundbreaking Ceremony
On Tuesday, April 8th, we celebrated a major milestone with the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Performing Arts Center. Held during lunch, the event featured an inspiring speech by Mrs. Titus, who shared heartfelt words about this long-awaited moment. Mrs. Titus and Mr. Daniels officially broke ground with the ceremonial shovels, marking the start of a new chapter. A drone captured a group photo of everyone in attendance, and participants wrote notes for a time capsule to preserve memories for the future. The day wrapped up with a lively kickball game and sweet treats—cotton candy courtesy of the History department!

As the school year draws to an end, our 8th grade scholars have been pouring their hearts and creativity into a cherished tradition: our end of the school year scrapbook. This is a wide collection of personalized “I Am” poems. Each scholar has their own personalized poem and scrapbook page which showcases who they are. These poems are deeply personal and unique. The impact doesn’t stop in 8th grade, this scrapbook becomes a time capsule for all to enjoy. Some scholars have made a cover for the scrapbook but very few will be chosen to represent the class scrapbook. Stay tuned to see the scrapbook come to life and showcase our amazing and unique 8th grade scholars. – Written by Sienna Hunt and Jazlyn Carpenter

Our Earth Day “Chalk the Walk” event, hosted by Scholar Council, was a vibrant celebration of creativity and sustainability! Students filled the sidewalks with colorful, inspiring messages and artwork honoring our planet. Huge thanks to Scholar Council for organizing such a fun and successful event!
Freshmen Night for the Class of 2029 was a blast!
8th Grade Scholars kicked off their high school journey with a night full of energy and excitement — from “Minute to Win It” games and a wild mattress race to Get-to-Know-You Bingo, raffles, and plenty of pizza! The Dual Enrollment presentation gave students a great head start on planning their future, and everyone left with new friends and big smiles. HUGE THANKS to Ms. Bocchinfuso, and our amazing Admin team, Scholar Council, and PTO for putting together such a fun and welcoming event!
Our JH Scholar Council spent two weeks hand making over 100 dog toys from used t-shirts. They were able to take and donate them to the Maricopa Animal Hospital.
