Shawls and any other sheer material is not allowed as coverups and will not be accepted to enter the dance. Necklines cannot reveal cleavage and the back of dresses must cover up to the bra line. No revealing midrifts. All other Heritage Standards apply. Teachers at the dance reserve the right to check dress code, have scholars make adjustments accordingly, or send them home. Admin will not be providing coverups at the dance. Please reference the attached formal dress code photo guides.
SCHOLAR COUNCIL PRESENTS…DOLLARS FOR DUDS
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th
On Dollars for Duds days, scholars are allowed to wear non-uniform clothing (INCLUDING JEANS) that meet Heritage Standards. $1.00 for shirt and $1.00 for pants/shorts. No change smaller than a quarter will be accepted. Wristbands purchased for participation must be worn on your scholar’s wrist throughout the day. Dollars for Duds is optional, and scholars do not have to participate. Money raised goes to support Scholar Council and the school activities and dances they support.
Heritage Standard means: no sleeveless or midriff shirts; shorts must be 4″ from the middle of the knee and skirts must come to the middle of the knee; no pants or shorts that are ripped, torn or frayed; NO YOGA PANTS or leggings; no inappropriate slogans or symbols on the clothing; and NO PAJAMAS, SLIPPERS or CROCS.
Scholar Council and school staff reserve the right to send scholars to the office for any dress code issues. Wristbands are available in the front office if your scholar arrives late.
We anticipate a continuation of increased enrollment, with many new families eager for their scholar to benefit from the quality academic environment at Heritage Academy – Maricopa Campus.
EXISTING SCHOLARS – All current scholars will be reserved a spot for next year and will complete re-enrollment in January during the course selection process.
NEW SCHOLARS – If you have friends or family members (including siblings) that do not currently attend Heritage but would like to join us next year, they will need to complete the full enrollment application. The 2026-2027 school year option will not be available until NOVEMBER 1st.
Open Enrollment will run through November 15th and the lottery will run in February. Heritage siblings do receive a priority, however you will want to apply during the Open–Enrollment period (11/1-11/15) to be included in the lottery and have the best chance of being offered a seat.
Please note that waitlist applications DO NOT roll-over from year to year. You must re-apply each year if your scholar is currently on the waitlist.
