While teaching the academic disciplines, Heritage Academy is dedicated to instilling into the minds and hearts of today’s youth a knowledge of and respect for the ideals and values of the great men and women of history, including those who founded the American nation.
As today’s rising generation gains an appreciation of these people of accomplishment, they will be ready to provide the selfless service to their fellow citizens and to their country which will be required in the coming years to assist in preserving America’s greatness. 2023 Graduation

Baily Martinez, Maleiya Gaddy, Lucas Adams, and Logan Duran will be graduating Heritage Maricopa with their associates degree. Here they are pictured at CAC’s graduation ceremonies. A huge accomplishment only attained by extra classes, late nights, and hard work. Well done scholars!

Congratulations to Samantha Cottam who earned a Black Belt in Taekwondo from Mr. Feiles’ Maricopa ATA Martial Arts.

Miss Bocchinfuso has taught scholars of all ages from preschool through high school in a variety of content areas. She is passionate about empowering scholars to reach their full potential and helping scholars develop the confidence to succeed in meaningful ways.
Miss Bocchinfuso has been with Heritage Academy Maricopa for the last 4 years teaching 6th grade English and pre-algebra. She is thrilled to continue to share her passion for education with all Heritage families and provide guidance for scholars as they begin planning for the future.
In her free time, Miss Bocchinfuso enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog, Luna. She loves to play kickball, read, sing, and spend time outdoors.

Parents, the PTO would like you to remember that as we approach the end of the year the snack bar has limited supplies. No more purchases to restock will be made for the rest of the school year. Please remind your scholars to pack a lunch if you are not using MyHotLunchbox for the day.

Mrs. Sims with newly inducted NJHS scholars. Congratulations and thank you Jeff Hazlett for capturing this photograph.

Brayden Hill’s NHS service project. Getting school vans washed up.

Mr. Bunker and our Harmonics Choir held a concert inside the Catholic Church.

Mrs. Andres’ 10th grade English scholars completed a Blackout poetry activity last week. Blackout Poetry is the art of focusing on or rearranging certain words in text to create a different meaning than the original writer has intended. They were given a random single page from a book and had to create a poem using at least ten words on the page. They added graphics to help represent the subject of their poems. A nice showcase of their creativity!

Mr Klepfer’s Chemistry class used our brand-new microscopes. The scholars were able to view images through their cell phones and they discovered a new world. Using chemicals, they were able to view pond life. Pictured here are a flea and a paramecium.

For their final project in Interior Design with Mrs. Cordell, scholars created designs including wall coverings, window coverings, flooring, lighting, and furniture, to meet the needs of their individual clients.

Mrs. Wilson and Mr. Hughes along with our Band and Orchestra scholars put on great concerts this week.

Mrs. Smith’s Dance Scholars during dress rehearsal. Getting ready to show off their hard work and put on an exciting show.

A special message from Heritage Maricopa parents:
We are so excited to announce that we’ve successfully met our goal of collecting enough signatures for the next phase of bringing Heritage Academy Elementary to Maricopa! Thank you all for signing our interest form and helping up spread the word to other families. We couldn’t have done this without our amazing community.
Please follow our Facebook group page HERE for additional updates as we move forward!
SCHOLARS SHOULD NOT BE SIGNED OUT BETWEEN 2:30-3:30 PM
Need to schedule an appointment for your scholar during school hours? We ask that you try and schedule appointments on Fridays when the scholars are out of school. We know this isn’t always possible due to days and hours of operation, however due to our driveline, we are not able to sign scholars out after 2:30 pm. If you have an appointment for your scholar, we will need you to pick them up before 2:30 pm or wait until school is out to pick up your scholar.

DRIVELINE REMINDER!
PLEASE remember that 0ur driveline is being monitored closely this year. No one can park on the street outside of our campus before the driveline. Parents must park in our “cell phone lot” until our gates are open at 3:15. Our city and our neighbors need your cooperation.
