Our Open House for the 2025-2026 school year will be held on October 30th @ 6:00 pm. Invite your friends, family, or anyone interested in attending Heritage Academy!
We anticipate a continuation of increased enrollment, with many new families eager for their scholar to benefit from the quality academic environment at Heritage Academy – Maricopa Campus.
EXISTING SCHOLARS – All current scholars will be reserved a spot for next year and will complete re-enrollment in January during the course selection process. If you are planning to withdraw for next year, please complete THE WITHDRAWAL REQUEST FORM.
NEW SCHOLARS – If you have friends or family members (including siblings) that do not currently attend Heritage but would like to join us next year, they will need to complete the full enrollment application. The 2025-2026 school year option will not be available until NOVEMBER 1st.

Open Enrollment will run through November 15th and the lottery will run the second week of January. Heritage siblings do receive a priority, however you will want to apply during the Open–Enrollment period (11/1-11/15) to be included in the lottery and have the best chance of being offered a seat.
Please note that waitlist applications DO NOT roll-over from year to year. You must re-apply each year if your scholar is currently on the waitlist.

At Heritage Academy Maricopa, one of our greatest priorities is ensuring that all our students arrive safely at school each and every day.
We are using a new, more efficient student absence reporting system called SafeArrival. This new system will reduce the time it takes to verify student attendance, make it easy for you to report your child’s absence and easy for staff to respond to unexplained student absences.
With SafeArrival, you are asked to report your child’s absence in advance using any of these 3 convenient methods:
1. Using your mobile device, download and install the SchoolMessenger app form the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store (or from the links at go.schoolmessenger.com). The first time you use the app, select Sign Up to create your account. Select Attendance then Report an Absence.
2. Use the SafeArrival website, go.schoolmessenger.
3. Call the toll-free number (888) 310-1783 to report an absence using the automated phone system.
*Please note the school policy: Absences need to be reported the day of or prior to in order to be excused, anytime after, they will not be excused. These reporting options are available 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.
In addition, we will use the SchoolMessenger Communicate automated notification system to contact parents whose child is absent when the absence was not reported in advance. The automated notification system will attempt to contact parents at multiple contact points until a reason is submitted for the absence.
If you report your child’s absence in advance using the SafeArrival toll-free number, website or mobile app, you will NOT receive these notifications.
Our new yearbook company is LIFETOUCH.

Dear Heritage Academy families,
We’re going to France in March 2026, and all current 8th through 11 graders are invited! We will be exploring Paris and Southern France, including the French Riviera. This is open to all those that will be enrolled in high school at a Heritage Academy campus in the year 2026. Those enrolled in French language classes are especially encouraged to participate, however it is not a requirement for the experience.
We’re excited to tell you more about the trip we’re planning with EF Tours, our educational travel partner. Please be sure to register for this info session to be considered for this opportunity: https://bit.ly/3zgsdNF
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and we would love to have your student join us on this adventure.
In this info session, we’ll talk about:
- How this opportunity will benefit your student
- What we’ll see and do on our trip (itinerary)
- Everything that’s included in this experience
- How your child can earn academic credit
- How we’re keeping this safe and affordable (overall cost)
- How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period
There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
Thanks,
Joseph Arnold
