Varsity baseball triumphed over Heritage Gateway in the championship game last week 9 – 1. Senior Paul Burke came in clutch with two RBI’s and took another one for the team as he was hit by a pitch for the 28th time this season! Cristian Morgan also delivered with two RBI’s as well. Matt Martin pitched 5 innings, striking out an impressive nine batters. Martin’s talent wasn’t limited to the mound; he also had a double and a triple at the plate. Matt received the player of the game honors! This was their third consecutive championship in a row!
Varsity softball unleashed an unstoppable fury on Heritage Mesa securing a15-5 victory in the championship game! Maricopa bats were nothing short of infernos! Zoey Wheaton ignited the rally with a triple in the third inning and Jordan Taylor delivered a knockout blow to put Maricopa up 3 – 2 then they never looked back! Senior Bailey LaBounty had three RBI’s plus a big put out at and stopped Mesa in its tracks. Kenya Martin Cruz dominated 5 solid innings in the pitcher’s circle then unleashed a mighty home run that soared over the fence sealing the win for our heroes. Kenya was awarded player of the game! This was softball’s third straight championship as well!

A huge thank you to all the parents and teachers who put in time and effort for set up and takedown of these events.

REMINDERS
Be prepared and try to remember all of the items you will need for class, sports, and extracurriculars each day.
We understand things happen and sometimes items get forgotten. We have had an increase in these forgotten items, so please help remind your scholars to prepare their needed items the night before. SCHOLAR WILL BE CALLED DOWN BETWEEN CLASSES TO PICK UP THE ITEM. WE WILL NOT DELIVER THE ITEMS TO CLASS. Please remind your scholar to pick up the item in the front office.
The front office lends out uniform shirts and pants to scholars for a variety of reasons. We need them returned in a timely manner. Starting after Spring Break we will be invoicing parents for unreturned items.
Parents,
The houses that surround Heritage are frustrated by cars blocking their driveways. PLEASE USE THE CELL PHONE LOT TO WAIT FOR DRIVELINE. The cell phone lot idea was created by a council comprised of the City of Maricopa Police Department, the HOA, the Catholic Church, and heritage to alleviate this issue.
